Bono on Bayern Munich radar to compensate Neuer

Bayern Munich officials have set their sights on Yassine Bono, goalkeeper of Morocco and Sevilla, in a bid to sign him during the upcoming winter mercato.

According to Spanish newspaper AS, Bono’s outstanding form with Morocco at the World Cup has attracted the interest of Bayern officials looking for a goalkeeper in the winter.

Yassine Bounou is under contract with Sevilla until the summer of 2025.

Bono caught everyone’s attention after shining with the Atlas Lions in reaching the semi-final of the World Cup, before falling to France (2-0), to set up a date against Croatia in the match to determine the third place.

Manuel Neuer announced the end of his current season after suffering a leg injury last Saturday.

Neuer wrote, via his account on the famous photo site “Instagram”: “While I was trying to relax by ski tours, I suffered a broken lower leg, and I had surgery yesterday, and it went well. Thank you so much to the doctors!”
