The statement of the wounded revolutionaries who are carrying a sit-in in front of the Cabinet

Unfortunately, we observed during the past period the irresponsible behavior of the Reconciliation government abandoning its duty towards the wounded of the youth revolution that does not promote to the very humanitarian and ethical values.

Ten of the wounded will depart to Germany and Cuba today, Sunday 17/2/2013. This is due to carrying a hunger strike for three weeks and after Munif Zubairi had burnt himself in solidarity with us against negligence on the part of the government to our demands, and against the heinous crime presented by the attempt of assassinating Ahmed Saif Hashed, the defender of our legitimate rights in medical treatment.

The brutal attack on the wounded of the Revolution carrying a sit-in in front of the Council of Ministers on Tuesday 12 of February that came in conjunction with the anniversary of the revolution is a major crime with premeditation, and a disgrace to the Reconciliation government and all its participated parties.

Accordingly, we affirm that we will continue our sit-in until all the wounded get their medical treatment without exceptions, and until revealing all the perpetrators of the assassination attempt towards the revolution conscience, MP Ahmed Saif Hashed, and all those who ordered and supported the killers. We demand to submit them to judiciary, and to charge the Prime Minister and the Minister of Interior with responsibility of this so flagrant assault.

We, the wounded carrying a sit-in, confirm that the cowardly attack we faced primarily aimed to the assassination of MP Ahmed Saif Hashed and to seizing  our peaceful sit-in by force neglecting the most basic principles of human rights by the reconciliation government.

We urge all the forces of the peaceful revolution and the forces of modernity and civic society organizations to stand with us in our just demands and to support us in the face of the killers and traffickers with the blood of the martyrs and the wounded.

What really upsets us and deepens our wounds is not the government mercenaries' bullets and the cudgels but your silence and negligence of our sufferings and our pain. For this, we say you will not extinguish the flame of struggle in our hearts and we will fulfill the objectives of our revolution and we will revolt and revolt and revolt.

Our revolution will continue

Glory of immortality to the martyrs
Shame to the killers and cowards
