A Spanish press report stated, today, Thursday, that FC Barcelona is facing a major crisis, regarding the list of the first football team for the Blaugrana.
The matter is related to the crisis of registering Javi, the star of Barca, in the list of the Catalan team.
And a report published on the Spanish channel “ Quatro ” stated that the League found that Barcelona did not comply with the standards it demanded regarding financial fair play.
And the report added that for this reason, the club will not be able to register Jaffe with the first team, and therefore the Blaugrana will not be able to grant him a new contract with the salary increase that he was promised.
He added that the player’s contract ends in the summer of 2024, and not in 2026, as the club plans.
On the other hand, the report indicated that Javi is fully committed to the project of Xavi Hernandez, the technical director of Barca, which gives the club reassurance about the player’s future and that he will not leave during the coming period.
