Hashed calls a strike and the RSF condemns the government position from the wounded

 yemenat

The RSF deeply condemns the official insistence to delay the procedures of sending ten of the wounded revolutionaries abroad for treatment according to the judgment issued by the administrative court regarding their case. This punitive position is because they presented their case in the court and refused to employ their case politically in the interest of particular parties used to exploit the sufferings of others to fulfill their benefits. This dishonorable behavior leads to serious ramifications increasing the deteriorations in the wounded healthy conditions.

The RSF confirms that the government and other specialized official institutions deliberately reject to facilitate the procedures of issuing visas of the wounded to travel to Germany and Cuba where they are supposed to have their medical care.  On the other hand, the embassies of these countries demand official actions from the Yemeni government to issue the visas and other demanded procedures. This reveals the aggressive manner towards the wounded and their sufferings adopted by the members of the government denying that they have achieved their positions at the expense of the wounded and the martyrs' blood. Therefore, the government has not only a legal obligation but also an ethical responsibility towards the wounded who sacrificed themselves for the revolution and the change.

In this connection, the RSF calls an aggravation against the government shameful position towards the wounded case. They also call an open strike and sit-in in front of the Council of Ministers. The head of the preparatory committee of the RSF, the parliamentarian Ahmed Saif Hashed, will launch this protesting activity on Thursday 29th of January 2013 until the government responds to the demands of the wounded and sends them abroad for medical treatment as it is supposed to be in Germany and Cuba.
